Morgan Foods was founded in 1899; it was over 125 years and 4 generations ago that Morgan Foods began. Joseph Steely Morgan, J.S. Morgan, started with one goal. To be the best.

1899 Morgan Founded employing 75 people.
1930 Morgan Foods becomes the nation’s largest fleet operator with more than 200 trucks.
1952 Morgan Foods acquires 22 acres under roof.
1974 John Morgan replaces his father Jack as president. Increasing emphasis on research and development and investing heavily in producing high quality products.
1980 Morgan Foods focus is production of soup and beans.
1990 Morgan Foods is ranked the 3rd largest condensed soup maker in the world.
2018 Morgan Foods purchases American Soy Products aseptic facility.
2021 Morgan Foods is the number one PL soup and number one PL bean manufacturer in the US.
2022 Morgan Foods expands American Soy Products capacity.
2024 Morgan Foods celebrates 125 years in business.
Today there are three Morgan family members that continue to carry on the tradition of leadership in store brand manufacturing. John Morgan, Chairman of the board. Kelly Maciejak, Vice chairman of the board. Tim Maciejak SVP Strategy and Corporate Development.
